About the Role

Join a fast-growing engineering business and play a key role in shaping their financial operations. As a Project Accountant, you'll support their commercial and project teams ensuring financial accuracy, improving systems, and helping drive growth. You'll work closely with the Head of Commercial and collaborate across departments to keep projects on track and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple projects
  • Manage client invoicing in line with contracts and milestones
  • Ensure timely payments to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Use Xero for accounting and reporting
  • Track time and costs billings
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounts
  • Contribute to process improvements and reporting
