Quantity Surveyor | High End Projects | Cambridgeshire A fantastic high end construction company are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Based in their Cambridgeshire office, the role will be overseeing 2 high end new build housing projects working alongside the Commercial Director. There is genuine progression within the business for a Quantity Surveyor alongside working on outstanding projects. Responsibilities * Procurement of subcontract and supplier packages. * Monitor project expenditure and ensure that costs are controlled effectively throughout the project duration. * Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors and suppliers. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors to secure favourable terms. * Perform regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers Qualifications * A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is not essential * Proven experience in the residential construction industry is highly desirable. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and team members. * Proficiency in relevant software applications for cost management and reporting.
