Maintenance Operative

Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker / General Maintenance Operativeto join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and safe facilities, and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

• General site upkeep and routine maintenance
• Jet washing external areas
• Checking and logging water temperatures for listeria risk management
• Gardening duties such as mowing, weeding, and general grounds care
• Supporting other basic maintenance tasks as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
