An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Sandwell from January 2025. This long-term placement, with the potential for a permanent role, is ideal for a teacher who is committed to inspiring students and delivering outstanding results in English Language and Literature. The successful candidate will enjoy a supportive work environment, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach a range of abilities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential). Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Collaborate with the English department and wider school staff to support student development.
