This temporary role supports Quality Assurance efforts within a manufacturing or engineering environment. The position is a key part of the quality team, responsible for performing inspections and final acceptance testing of products to ensure they meet defined specifications and standards.

Duties include inspections during goods receipt, in-process assembly, final build, and packaging stages. The role also contributes to the development and execution of quality inspection and control plans, and involves the use of various metrology tools and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming material inspection and testing.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and testing throughout production operations.
  • Carry out final inspection and testing, including verification and validation of finished products.
  • Record inspection and test data into relevant databases and systems.
  • Produce detailed inspection/test reports, including data presentation and basic analysis.
  • Review inspection reports and data prior to final product release, and provide feedback to production teams.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of inspection and control plans.
  • Ensure non-conforming product is correctly identified and support disposition activities through the Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Support containment and corrective actions for quality issues as needed.
  • Assist with calibration management and control of measurement equipment.
  • Participate in process and quality audits.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by line management.
Experience:
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an electromechanical or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards is an advantage.
  • Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), FARO Arms, and standard measuring tools.
  • Ability to follow test procedures to verify and release final products.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.
  • Competent in the use of Office365 applications and general IT systems.
Working Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 04:30
  • Friday 08:00 - 04:00
