Based in the English Riviera, this exciting new opportunity will join an established startup company to develop technologies for a sustainable future through ML and Datacentre technologies.
The experienced Senior Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for FPGA Design and High Speed Digital Design for the development of high-speed network interface cards. The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, along with:
- Extensive hands-on industry experience of FPGA / High Speed Digital Design for network applications at 100Gbps and above
- Experience in hardware integration, preferably within RF/photonics/optics systems
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, signal processing and efficient power supplies
- Knowledge of EMC implications of high-speed transmission
- Scripting and automation, such as TCL and Python
- Knowledge of thermal and mechanical considerations in hardware design
- Experience using PCIe, CXL, RDMA, DDR4, bare metal use of high-speed transceivers, Ethernet, IP
- Excellent skills in SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL
