Remedy Education are looking for Secondary Tutors to work 1:1 with students with SEN, teaching core subjects.
SEN experience needed:
- You will work privately or through local authorities on a 1:1 basis to make a difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs.
To be a SEN Tutor you will need:
- QTS/PGCE or at least 2 years experience teaching and assessing in primary or secondary schools
- At least 2 years' experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD
- A proven record of being able to heighten pupils' confidence, self-esteem and love of learning
- 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty
- To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching
- Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Incredible patience
- An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these
- The ability to deal with possible behaviour issues
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service
