Join today and build progress with us. The Opportunity Based at our Flagship Hardrock Quarry in Bardon Hill, Leicestershire we now have an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager. Whilst onsite you’ll cover a 4on 4off 18:00-06:00 shift, where you’ll have full site responsibility of one of our three Super Quarries in the UK. This is a highly visible role where you can set up for success and growth into other areas of the business. Onsite you’ll have full responsibility of this Super Quarry, accountable for ensuring our teams are operating in a safe manner. Our production and processing equipment will be operating late into the evening, with maintenance tasks and preparation for the day’s activities commencing through the night – giving you a true variation in teams and departments. You’ll play a pivotal part in all site activities to achieve our targets of 4m+ tonnes of output annually. Your actions throughout the shift will set our day team up for success, so we all achieve together. With direct management of a Section Supervisors and indirectly responsible for 30 colleagues onsite, you’ll need to be visible to all by leading from the front and championing our strong Health & Safety culture onsite. Who you are You’ll be an experienced people manager, who has held responsibility for a team in a production environment. You’ll be a safety focussed individual, with qualifications to back such as an IOSH or NEBOSH. You’ll have an excellent communication style, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
