The Opportunity
Dr. Barbara Sturm are seeking to appoint a Head of Marketing to join their Global Marketing Team.
What you’ll get to do
Brand marketing strategy:
Support GM and MD in the creation of a global, customer-centric, omni-channel marketing strategy to drive the business’ international growth ambitions and objectives.
Portfolio management:
- Manage range architecture to maximise productivity at all points of sale and drive profitability.
- Partner with the PD team to lead and shape both new and existing product proposition, USP, positioning and pricing.
- Develop global sampling initiatives and tool kits.
- Work closely with R&D on all claims (scientific and consumer) creating compelling consumer-friendly communications and reason to believe.
- Coordinate market insights, consumer insights, competitor mapping and benchmarking, highlighting gaps and opportunities for DBS globally and in key markets U.S. and U.K.
- Partner with Business Development to present strategies to local market teams, aligning them to the strategic vision, reviewing compliance, execution, and impact.
Calendar management:
Work closely with the Marketing Director in development of the global marcomms calendar to drive brand awareness, client engagement and maximise revenue growth.
Campaign planning:
Develop impactful marketing strategies and campaigns focused on key moments across the annual calendar with a focus on storytelling, recruitment and retention of clients to drive sales as well as grow brand love.
Retail marketing:
Oversee all retail marketing for Dr. Barbara Sturm’s 7 Spa & Boutique locations, implementing local strategies for each market as well as a global calendar across programming and events. Work with internal and external stakeholders on content and new opportunities to drive awareness, repeat purchase and loyalty in our spas.
Partnerships:
Responsible for end-to-end management of all partnerships and collaborations with a clear focus on reinforcing brand values/associations, elevating brand visibility (owned and earned content), acquiring new audience and clients, and maximising commercial opportunity.
Events:
Responsible for concepting and overseeing all brand-level consumer-facing events/experiential. Work closely with key market partners and external agencies to support best-in-class execution, creating memorable engaging moments for our community and clients, with a clear focus on reinforcing brand values/associations, elevating brand visibility (owned and earned content), acquiring new audience and clients, and maximising commercial opportunity.
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in global brand and product marketing within the beauty, luxury, or wellness sectors.
- Significant experience of global skincare portfolio and category management.
- Exceptional strategic orientation, leveraging insights and analytics, and an ability to build consensus around a strategic vision.
- A natural relationship-builder with clear aptitude for working cross-functionally, across different departments and with local and regional teams, to eliminate silos and achieve aligned objectives.
- Proven track record in driving brand awareness and building brand equity.
- Financially astute with significant experience of budget management.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, extremely organized and ability to prioritize.
- Action and results-oriented marketeer who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial culture.
