Working for a company that supplies services and equipment to the NHS, we are now looking for an experienced Stock Controller at the Leicester Royal Infirmary site. Ideally, they are seeking someone experienced in stock control or a similar role.
Your role:
- Day to day management of consumables on site
- Source non-stock products as required by the location
- Add or amend product details on computer system
- Manage automatic and manual orders including non-stock
- Manage requisitions including non-stock, raise and enter Purchase orders
- Stock transfers
- Expedite orders with suppliers
- Accept delivery of stock
- Ensure all stock is appropriately located ready for use by clinical staff
- Manage receipt of products for trials, loan equipment
- Manage quarantine of products
- Management and physical returns
- Undertake cyclical and annual stock takes/reconciliation
- Management of price queries with suppliers, Trust procurement and finance, and Accounts payable
- Removal of rubbish and housekeeping throughout the facility
- Provide on-site support for all regional offices to cover absence
The person:
- Previous warehouse management/stock control experience ideally within the NHS, but not essential
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Car driver essential as you may need to help at other sites close by
