You will also be identifying and winning new prospective customers which fall into the micro, small and medium sized organisation customer bracket, and creating opportunities to deliver increased revenue of sales and profit through your excellent customer relationship management skills. Existing building trade or technical knowledge of plumbing and heating products would be preferable – but is not essential for this position. As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be: Producing valuable data on the activities undertaken, as well tracking, measuring and evaluating performance and ROI analysis. Regularly meeting and reviewing key account customers and building tailor made loyalty opportunities for our largest customers. Providing quotation and sales support on contract, renewables and merchant business. Collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for new business. Tracking competitor loyalty programs and understanding how ours compare. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Forging excellent relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. Keeping up to date with the current data analysis and trend analysis. Identifying strategies to win new prospects for significant business. Constantly achieving incremental targets and KPIs. Ideally, you are: A proven sales professional with exposure of working in a similar position. Determined and driven to succeed, with the willingness to undertake the personal investments required to achieve that success. Available to travel across our national Branch Network, with occasional overnight stays when required. Technologically proficient with excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills. Intuitive and decisive, balancing external interests whilst producing outcomes. Highly organised with ability to prioritise business critical tasks. Able to identify and be creative to meet our customers needs. Self- motivated and eager to achieve KPIs and sales targets. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
