We’re looking for an experienced Fire Marshal to start on Monday on a live construction site. The role includes checking fire safety measures and making sure everyone on site is working in a safe and compliant way.
Location: Central London
Rate: £15/hour
Shift: Daytime
Start Date: Monday
Main Duties:
- Carry out routine patrols to identify fire hazards
- Ensure fire extinguishers are in place, clearly marked, and in good working condition
- Make sure all emergency exits are accessible and not blocked
- Observe work being carried out and ensure teams are following safe practices
- Keep accurate records of checks and any incidents
- Be the first response in case of fire alarms or emergencies
- Support evacuations if needed and communicate with emergency services
Requirements:
- Valid Fire Marshal certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role on construction sites (mandatory)
- Confident in spotting unsafe work and speaking up when needed
- Good communication skills, observant, and proactive
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have the right to work in the UK
