Are you a skilled leader with a passion for supporting children and young people in supported accommodation? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee five supported living homes across Kent, each with its own on-site supervisor.
About the Role: As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and regulatory compliance of the services, ensuring safe, high-quality care and support tailored to the needs of children and young people. You will provide leadership, manage staff performance, and liaise with external agencies, including Ofsted, to maintain excellent standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children or young people in residential or supported accommodation settings.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People’s Residential Management or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards and Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, or Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 for unregulated services.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (Level 3 or above).
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- First Aid, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and mandatory care-related training.
