Our client, a Top 100 accountancy firm based in a vibrant part of Central London, offers a great mix of a strong technical client base (much of which is akin to that of a Top 20 firm), combined with an excellent work life balance and a relaxed, sociable environment.
Audit Manager responsibilities include:
- Planning, supervising, and reviewing audit engagements for a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients
- Overseeing the preparation and audit of financial statements under Charities SORP
- Reviewing statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP, FRS 102, and other applicable frameworks
- Conducting independent examinations of smaller charities and overseeing preparation of accounts where necessary
- Mentoring and developing audit team members
- Being the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing strategic advice
As an Audit Manager, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 1 yearsβ post-qualified experience
- Be experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the charity and not-for-profit sector
- Be confident with SORP and FRS 102
