Our client, a Top 100 accountancy firm based in a vibrant part of Central London, offers a great mix of a strong technical client base (much of which is akin to that of a Top 20 firm), combined with an excellent work life balance and a relaxed, sociable environment.

Audit Manager responsibilities include:

  • Planning, supervising, and reviewing audit engagements for a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients
  • Overseeing the preparation and audit of financial statements under Charities SORP
  • Reviewing statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP, FRS 102, and other applicable frameworks
  • Conducting independent examinations of smaller charities and overseeing preparation of accounts where necessary
  • Mentoring and developing audit team members
  • Being the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing strategic advice

As an Audit Manager, you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 1 years’ post-qualified experience
  • Be experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the charity and not-for-profit sector
  • Be confident with SORP and FRS 102
