About the Role
As Branch Manager, you’ll be at the helm of a busy, successful branch, reporting directly to the Directors. You’ll lead from the front—supporting, mentoring, and motivating your team to reach their full potential and exceed performance targets. Your leadership will be key to driving productivity, managing operations, and delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily morning meetings and monthly 1:1s to drive performance and development
- Manage branch budgets, allocate funds, and set clear financial targets
- Coach and mentor team members on best recruitment practices
- Master and train others on in-house systems, databases, and job boards
- Oversee all recruitment activity to ensure business growth and target achievement
- Ensure client satisfaction and high service standards across the board
- Support colleagues with candidate sourcing, interviewing, advertising, and compliance
- Guide the team through the full 360° recruitment process
- Collaborate with payroll, marketing, and HR to ensure smooth operations
- Drive business development and maintain strong client relationships
- Guarantee full compliance with employment legislation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in recruitment management—ideally within the Transport or Industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of the West Midlands / Black Country / Birmingham region
- A track record of winning and retaining clients
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
- A confident communicator with excellent organisational abilities
- The drive to meet and exceed business targets
- Full UK driving licence
