Full-time or part-time considered

Are you comfortable leading on fundraising, forecasting, and financial strategy? Can you move between investor meetings and day-to-day operations with ease? Have you helped a founder take a business through its next phase of growth?

We are working with a well-funded, high-growth tech company that’s scaling fast. With a mature product, established customer base, and long-term contracts in place, they’re now expanding into new markets, launching new revenue lines, and investing in senior leadership to help support and guide that growth. They are looking for an experienced finance leader, someone commercial, strategic, and hands-on to join the exec team and take full ownership of the finance function.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will lead the finance function day-to-day, while also playing a key part in shaping long-term commercial and strategic decisions.

As VP of Finance you’ll be expected to:

  • Provide clear financial guidance to the CEO and leadership team
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Own investor reporting and board communications
  • Oversee compliance, controls, and financial systems
  • Lead on external financing—equity and debt—working with advisors, lenders, and investors
  • Evaluate and execute M&A opportunities (due diligence, modelling, post-deal integration)
  • Build out planning and analysis to support new business lines and markets
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team

You’ll be both the strategic partner and the operational lead, building the right foundations while keeping pace with a business that’s moving quickly.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in tech or a high-growth, investor-backed environment
  • A track record of fundraising (equity and/or debt) and managing investor relationships
  • Strong FP&A, cash flow, and modelling skills
  • Comfort working closely with founders and exec teams
  • ACA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Calm under pressure, focused on delivery, and able to influence at board level

This is a role for someone who wants to be part of the leadership team, not just report to it. If you’re looking for a commercial finance position in a growing tech business, this one’s worth a closer look.
