The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

UK Based Hybrid role for a leading safety consultancy (several roles available - from senior to lead). In this position you will be expected to develop relationships, and deliver robust Fire Risk Assessments and reports. Experience in commercial, residential and industrial sectors is a must.

The day job includes:

  • Preparing fire, health and safety risk assessments in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Developing retrospective fire strategy reports for residential and student accommodation buildings.
  • Providing robust fire, health and safety advice to clients with high level advocacy.
  • Developing emergency plans and evacuation plans (including specific tenant plans).
  • Delivering on client specific projects and competent person roles.
  • Providing corporate management advice, gap analysis reports and fire and health and safety management systems.
  • Supporting Technical Director in department projects.
  • Completing technical reviews of consultant fire, health and safety risk assessments.
  • Keeping up to date with current legislation and advising clients on compliance requirements.
  • Identifying and discussing solutions to health, safety and fire related problems.
  • Reviewing international regulations and compliance regulations, completing European health, safety, and fire safety risk assessments as required.

Qualifications/Certifications:

  • Familiar with BAFE SP205 Validation process.
  • Demonstrable CPD record.
  • Member of IFSM or IFE.
  • Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
  • Diploma level qualification in health and safety.
  • CMIOSH or equivalent (or working towards).
  • Registered on a recognised Fire Consultants’ Register.
  • Thorough understanding of British Standards relating to fire in the residential sector.
  • Building regulations Approved Document B, British Standards, relevant fire, health and safety legislation, ACOPS, Approved Documents M and K.
  • Aware of CDM 2015 Regulations.
