We are working with a software company based in Cambridge who are looking to add an Applications Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and support to the sales team at all stages of the sales process
- Working with customers on the phone and in person
- Conducting training courses
- Creating and delivering product demonstrations at customer meetings
- Working collaboratively with developers and other application engineers
- Being present at conferences across the UK
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A strong mathematical and physics background
- Experience with chemical physics
- An aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
