PROPERTY LITIGATION – SENIOR ASSOCIATE OR PARTNER LEGAL 500 AND CHAMBERS RANKED
Our client, a top tier Legal 500 and Chambers Ranked firm, is looking to strengthen its numbers with the appointment of a senior solicitor.
The Firm
A leading law firm based in the Southeast with offices, including Central London, our client offers a full legal service to businesses and private individuals. They act for blue-chip companies that are household names as well as SMEs, entrepreneurs, and not-for-profit organisations.
Over the past several years, they have expanded into international markets, regularly advising clients in the UK doing business overseas and international clients intending to invest in the UK.
The firm has a rich history and has retained a reputation for high-quality legal advice from lawyers who are experts in their fields.
The Team
The Real Estate department currently consists of several lawyers and is recommended by all the major leading independent legal directories.
Their lawyers manage a broad range of real estate work across different sectors and include teams dedicated to property litigation, construction, and environmental law. The team handles the full scope of property litigation work including landlord & tenant work, development and contractual disputes, easements, covenant and boundary advice, land ownership, and insolvency.
The team has extensive experience litigating in the High Court, County Court, as well as the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) mediations and other forms of ADR.
Clients include mid-tier businesses (whether quoted or owner-managed), household name PLCs, and other major international groups. They also act for owners and investors, individuals, and developers and have extensive experience dealing with corporate occupier clients’ property litigation requirements.
The Candidate
This is an opportunity to take a lead role in the future development of the property litigation team, and as such, we are looking to speak with already established partners or senior associates.
You should have a solid litigation background, coming from a well-regarded law firm with a similar calibre to our client.
As well as relevant experience, you should be an active business developer and have a history of building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships, given the seniority of this position.
