A fantastic opportunity became available for an enthusiastic Senior Buyer to join our clients Procurement team to grow with the business and become part of a team supporting global institutions. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be an integral part of this busy and vibrant department. As the Senior Buyer, you will be:
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the company
- Managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of products
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Contributing to the development of the procurement strategy
- Mentoring other team members
- Collaborating with various departments to support company objectives
- Managing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery
- Monitoring inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts
- Analysing trends
As the Senior Buyer, you will have:
- Understanding of Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain processes
