Seymour John are thrilled to be working in partnership with our Telford based client to hire a Finance Specialist. Our client is happy to employ a candidate on a Fixed Term Contract or will hire on a permanent basis for the right candidate.
The Finance Specialist is a key role that sits in the HR Team, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, working closely with the Finance Team key stakeholders, providing specialist advice and guidance on post payroll activities. The role offers exposure to a wide range of duties with the opportunity to take ownership of these tasks while adopting a proactive and efficient approach.
Key tasks include:
- Produce and send monthly cost centre listings to Finance
- Produce payroll analysis
- Compile recharge reports and send to various finance teams
- Send monthly analysis of recharges to treasury teams for intercompany bank transfers
- Produce Payroll General Ledger posting reports and send to various finance teams
- Run General Ledger posting report
- Produce Headcount reports
- Reconcile, investigate balances and arrange for corrections for payroll control accounts
- Produce reports for monthly pension changes
- Produce monthly IR35 report and distribute to Finance - all entities
- Distribute monthly payroll report to various Finance teams
- Distribute overtime and shift allowance reports for Finance teams
- Produce and send Class 1A NIC's report
- Approve monthly Payroll payments
We are looking to speak to candidates who can take ownership of the post payroll finance function across multiple entities. You will be instrumental in spending time with the finance team and key stakeholders to document and map processes.
