An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a well-established and growing construction firm on a 6-month maternity cover contract. Based in Greenwich, this role is 100% office based and offers a salary of £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The company has been operating for over 20 years, employs more than 100 staff, and continues to thrive within the construction sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional with strong Sage and CIS experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Sage
  • Manage credit control processes and liaise with clients where required
  • Handle VAT and CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Process payroll and manage petty cash and asset financing

What Experience is Required

  • Previous experience using Sage Accounts and handling CIS returns
  • AAT qualification (or equivalent) with strong bookkeeping skills
  • Excellent communication and administrative abilities
