An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a well-established and growing construction firm on a 6-month maternity cover contract. Based in Greenwich, this role is 100% office based and offers a salary of £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The company has been operating for over 20 years, employs more than 100 staff, and continues to thrive within the construction sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional with strong Sage and CIS experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using Sage
- Manage credit control processes and liaise with clients where required
- Handle VAT and CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulations
- Process payroll and manage petty cash and asset financing
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience using Sage Accounts and handling CIS returns
- AAT qualification (or equivalent) with strong bookkeeping skills
- Excellent communication and administrative abilities

- Salary: £45,000 (pro rata for 6 months)
