Global Head of Communications, Biotech and Diagnostics, London

Global Head of Communications Job, based in London with frequent European and Global travel. I am working with a leading biotech and diagnostics company who are looking to hire a Global Head of Communications. As the senior lead you will be developing and executing the global communications strategy across external corporate and brand communications in line with the business strategy, including proactive corporate and brand reputation management, executive visible leadership, internal and leadership communications as well as media relations.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Proven success in executing communications strategies and campaigns globally.
• Proven success in internal and external communications.
• Proven success in navigating complex organisations.
• Must have experience in pharmaceutical and scientific communications.
• Experience in Leadership visibility, and working with C-Suite.
• Must be agile, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with high levels of diplomacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help establish and drive the long- and short-term global communications strategy for corporate communications, internal communications, media strategy, digital and social strategy, story development and agency management.
• Develop and drive effective and engaging internal and external storytelling that is relevant and effective at engaging a variety of audiences.
• Drive awareness of the brand as the world leaders in their field enhancing online and social-media presence driving media strategy to increase awareness and publication in markets with key facilities.
• Raise company profile in the biotech and academic worlds, with a view to cultivating partnerships and licensing discussions.
• Cultivate and lead internal brand allies, helping them to execute local initiatives and roll-out the global strategy.
• Inspire employees to excel in performance and deliver on company commitments.
