JMC Aviation are working with a FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new Temporary Purchaser to join their team on a fixed term basis. This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility, offering outstanding customer service to their high-end clientele from arrival to aircraft. The family run business aids their candidates in building their skills to excel in their roles. This is a Temporary Position based in Stansted. aircraft parts, related materials and services to support on-time delivery of aircraft coming to the site for maintenance. Other duties involve: Purchasing a wide range of aircraft parts, materials and related equipment Timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of parts in line with operational requirements. Secure material delivery progress by chasing vendors and logistics providers in order to secure aircraft ontime delivery. Maintaining inventory levels within approved guidelines. Resolving and investigating supply chain errors Creating and updating daily shortage reports. Continually improving purchasing methods in a bid to drive down external spend. Assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures for Materials Purchasing Identifying new suppliers including discount structures and volume rebates. Providing clearance information to the responsible courier / freight forwarder for all imports * Out of hours AOG support as
