Teaching Assistant – Basingstoke Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School ASAP Start – £ 83-£90 per day Are you an aspiring primary school teacher? Do you have previous experience working with children? Do you have a strong academic background? An outstanding primary school establishment in Basingstoke are searching for a bright teaching assistant to join them ASAP . You will be required to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 children and have some responsibility to work with SEN children. Ideally the teaching assistant will have previous experience working with children and a strong academic background. Graduates who are personable, academic, creative and/or sporty are ideal for this role. Extra-curricular interests such as music, arts, languages and sports are desirable. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to build upon their knowledge and confidence before completing their teacher training. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable but not a necessity. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting.
