Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities Assist in creating and developing mechanical designs using SolidWorks. Produce detailed drawings and technical documentation for fabrication and manufacturing. Convert 3D models into production-ready drawings and bills of materials. Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements. Maintain detailed project documentation and support the wider team on design initiatives. Liaise with colleagues to gather design requirements and provide input on technical solutions. Candidate Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Understanding of SolidWorks, with demonstrable experience in draughting and mechanical design. Understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication and assembly. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with mechanical design principles.
