A leading food manufacturing business is seeking a highly organised Buyer to join its fast-paced Procurement team based in Wembley. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic supply chain operation by supporting stock control and purchasing activities, ensuring seamless raw material availability and cost-effective sourcing. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate pricing data in business systems and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance across cost, service, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure raw materials are available for production and new product launches.
- Conduct market analysis and negotiate competitive prices to support accurate product costing.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Understand raw material parameters (shelf-life, MOQ, usage) to ensure procurement feasibility.
What Weβre Looking For
