Key Responsibilities of a Graduate Sales Engineer:- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Identifying business opportunities and following up on leads
- Understanding technical requirements and presenting tailored solutions
- Preparing quotes, proposals and negotiating terms
- Working closely with technical and operational teams
- Attending client meetings and industry events to represent the business
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (mechanical engineering is preferable)
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- A confident, motivated and proactive approach
- The ability to understand and explain technical products and services
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
Sales experience is a bonus but not essential – full training will be provided for the right graduate with a passion for learning, a consultative approach and an interest in developing a career that combines technical understanding with commercial delivery.
