Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical services projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations
- Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders, including value engineering
- Collaborating with design and project teams to align costings with delivery plans
- Presenting estimates to senior management and supporting tender submissions
- Assisting with contract negotiations and handover to delivery teams
- Keeping up to date with market rates, materials, and emerging technologies
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or construction industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
