Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical services projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders, including value engineering
  • Collaborating with design and project teams to align costings with delivery plans
  • Presenting estimates to senior management and supporting tender submissions
  • Assisting with contract negotiations and handover to delivery teams
  • Keeping up to date with market rates, materials, and emerging technologies

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
