An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Client’s team and drive the development of cutting-edge test tools used by some of the world's leading tech companies. Based in the heart of the Highlands, you'll be hands-on across the full product lifecycle—from design and prototyping to validation and hand over to production. You'll also mentor graduate engineers and help shape the future of our hardware development team.
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Strong experience in hardware product development, circuit design and schematic capture
- Proven experience in taking designs from prototype through to manufacture
- Proven experience of PCB layout principles, strong debugging and fault finding abilities
- Proficiency with PCB layout tools
- Experience in mentoring/developing others
- A proactive, organised mindset and a passion for innovation
- (Bonus) Python, FPGA, or compliance testing experience
This is a full-time, on-site role in Aviemore—relocation or daily commute required.
