Immediate requirement for a temporary Asset Manager Home based , with occasional visits to East Mids. based office. £350.00 to 400.00 per day (inside IR35) 3-6 months Our client an elderly care provider and charity providing high quality care and support across England and Wales Were dedicated to providing some of the highest quality care and support to older people across England and Wales Purpose of Position * Championing our asset management system and constantly looking for ways to improve our processes. * To liaise closely with relevant Heads in the development of the clients portfolio * Leading on collection and interpretation of stock condition data to best inform strategic asset management. * Develop cyclical, capital and planned maintenance programmes to maximise available resources in maintaining the stock in consultation with all stakeholders. * Develop and maintain a 30 Year Asset Plan including 5-year programmes that inform the annual budget setting process. * Develop and maintain an asbestos register for all properties and produce yearly re-inspection programme. * Lead in the standardisation of materials to achieve demonstrable value for money and improved performance. * Implement the Estate’s procurement strategy in collaboration with various stakeholders. The candidate : Experience * HA sector and Care sector would be desirable * Experience of managing a team of property professionals * Developing and maintaining asset investment plans * Experience of producing life cycle costings for asset components * Experience of implementing Health and Safety legislation relevant to construction works * Experience of managing a comprehensive asset list.
