The Role
As an Internal Staffing & Early Careers Acquisition Intern, you will manage internal staffing processes and drive early careers recruitment initiatives. This includes mobilizing employees for projects, engaging with universities, planning academic events, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about talent acquisition and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet staffing requirements of projects through effective mobilization of employees.
- Connect with employees to understand their skills and career aspirations.
- Ensure internal systems are updated with valid job openings and maintain accurate trackers.
- Respond to general queries via calls and emails.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and systems.
- Plan and execute academic engagement calendars, including career fairs, insight weeks, and student contests (e.g., CodeVita, Sustainathon).
- Collaborate with onboarding, HR BP, and project teams on induction, placement, and training.
- Create and maintain reports on hiring trends and diversity metrics.
- Drive innovative talent attraction strategies and brand engagement initiatives.
Your Profile
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Good proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
- Experience in recruitment or HR processes; exposure to early careers hiring is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in campus engagement and event planning.
- Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices.
