Job Description
Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Tax Manager for a rapidly growing financial consultancy startup based in the London area. The firm was launched in the last few years and they are now looking to add tax as a new service offering to their corporate clients.
This Tax Manager role will have responsibility for strategic decisions around growth, both in terms of the revenue stream and the headcount numbers. Client deliverables will include:
- Company tax returns
- Taxation notes and disclosures in statutory accounts
- Transfer pricing
- VAT
- M&A tax implications
- ERS submissions
- EIS/SEIS
- R&D tax credit
- P11Ds
- PSA submissions
To be considered for this role, you will need to be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified and have several years of experience in tax. As this is a leadership role, staff management experience is also a must. You must also be able to work well with clients and win business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm and build your own service line where you will be able to utilise both your technical tax knowledge and your entrepreneurial flair to expand the business into new areas. There is the possibility of equity/profit share at some point in the future for the right candidate.
This role is paying £80K – £100K plus bonus and benefits. The role is fully remote but will occasionally require visits to client offices and team meetings in London.
