Montresor has an exclusive instruction to recruit a circa 4-6 PQE Private Equity M&A lawyer on behalf of a leading international law firm. This is an established mid-market practice capturing a wide range of sponsors and inclusive of growth equity mandates. There is ample investment from the firm's exec committee into private capital in London, including a recent big-name partner acquisition, and there remains ambition to build the team further.

This role exists because the team is performing well, although it is pursuing a strategy of careful growth and looking to identify and attract an individual with long term potential. There is a demonstrable bench gap at this level which provides an excellent progression opportunity.

You will be able to help partners lead on deals and provide direction to juniors, and have the autonomy to contribute to business development activities. You could either be a PE specialist, or do a mix of private equity and other M&A, portfolio, secondaries or ad-hoc matters.

The firm has a superb brand and maintains leading teams in all the necessary practices to pitch a premium mid market sponsor offering.
