Planned Investment Building Surveyor – Londonbased Housing Association
£27 PAYE – £34 Umbrella / Deemed LTD (Inside IR35)

Service Care Solutions are currently working with a Housing Association in London to recruit a Planned Investment Building Surveyor to support the delivery of capital investment works, with a key focus on external cyclical repairs and kitchen & bathroom renewals.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high quality, while maintaining a strong focus on resident satisfaction and health and safety compliance. The role is site-based, and visibility will be key – you’ll be regularly inspecting contractor works, identifying risks, managing progress, and resolving customer issues.
Responsibilities:

Oversee delivery of planned works across external and internal refurbishments (ECR, kitchens, bathrooms).
Conduct technical surveys pre-, during, and post-works using Viewpoint and Fieldview software.
Manage contractors, monitor works progress and maintain regular site attendance.
Resolve resident queries and complaints efficiently, keeping a customer-focused approach.
Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to ensure accurate cost tracking from estimate through to final account.
Produce technical reports and ensure works align with NHG’s contract and specification standards.

Requirements:

HNC / HND / Degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or related discipline OR significant hands-on experience in building/construction.
Strong project management background, particularly with capital investment / cyclical maintenance schemes.
Proficiency with contract administration and employer’s requirements documentation.
Confident with IT systems including MS Office, Viewpoint, and Fieldview.
Excellent communication skills and customer service approach.
Full UK Driving Licence.
