Our international law firm client has a strong track record in upper mid-market banking transactional work and is turning its attention to growth after a very busy year to date. The department works on a mix of lender and borrower work and, on the bank side, has good panel relationships with both mainstream and challenger banks. This is a generalist banking role with a focus on debt finance. Given the nature of the firm, there will also be a stream of REF work.
There is plenty of headroom for the next partner lateral, along with top quality infrastructure, associate support, and technology.
The team has an established presence and rankings and is well supported by other legal specialties within this full-service firm, particularly corporate. Covering a broad range of sectors, including Tech, Energy, Real Estate, and Retail, they see a strong pipeline of UK-focused work over the next 6-12 months.
Culturally, the firm has an incredibly collaborative approach, working across offices in tight-knit teams where communication and togetherness are paramount. This opportunity would definitely suit someone who is attracted to working in diverse teams with a breadth of clients, as opposed to on their own account.
