Our client is one of the UK’s market leading FMCG companies. The business is dynamic, modern and vibrant, and their enthusiastic team of people are all encouraged to reach their full potential through training and opportunities to grow with the business. They are now seeking a Demand Planner to join their team.
Demand Planner Key Responsibilities:
- Own/Manage the Demand Planning process for the relevant business categories
- Create, maintain and adjust forecasts for key customers and suppliers
- Create a forecast that is updated monthly for all products/customers and reviewed according to priority to ensure accuracy.
- Run SAP implementation
- Work collaboratively with the marketing, sales and finance teams
- Partnering with the commercial planner, ensure the customer demand & stock availability is met.
- Ensure that core KPIs are hit on a monthly basis. Root cause analysis and action plans created where required
To Be A Successful Demand Planner:
- Previous demand planning/supply chain experience, preferably within the FMCG industry
- Highly personable and analytical. Strong numerical and data analysing skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines and in pressurised situations
- SAP experience a plus
