Senior Ecologist - BNG Specialist

Are you an experienced ecologist with a passion for biodiversity net gain (BNG) and mentoring the next generation?

About the Role:

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? What better way to do that then to join one of the UK\’s top ecology consultancies? This role is home-based and would be ideally suited to a senior ecologist that wants to help drive the deliver BNG services to clients, including surveys, assessments and advice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of BNG services for a diverse client portfolio
• Produce high-quality BNG assessments and management plans
• Coach and support junior consultants
• Deliver in-house training and help shape the future of the ecology team

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in habitat and protected species assessments
• Ability to write reports such as EPS licencing, HRA and ES chapters.
• It\’s essential that you have a strong grasp of the evolving developments in biodiversity net gain and are confident using UK Habs

Pay range and compensation package:

• up to 40k
