My client is looking for a Welsh speaking Policy and Projects Officer Job Purpose To project manage specific improvement initiatives or policy areas as directed by Head of Service – Safeguarding To develop and maintain reporting structures within the departments electronic recording system to inform performance management throughout the service To provide improvements in practice development across the service To develop and implement quality assurance processes within the service The role is mainly office based but will require attendance at meetings across the region as required. The role may also involve making presentations to a range of groups within the council and other locations. As a result the post holder will be required to take responsibility for maintaining and securing appropriate equipment. Direct, and check the work of 2 L08 staff members and on occasion agency workers to ensure the effective use of the Raise systemem and correct information is collated, interpreted and submitted to the senior management team, Elected Members and the Department’s regulaters CSSIW and the WAO and Welsh Government Develop and introduce performance frameworks across the P&SC and ASC Departments in relation to cross cutting areas of work Develop and deliver specific training for staff in front line social work teams relating to performance frameworks and the RAISe system The work will mai…
