My client, a Top 100 UK Law firm is seeking a Solicitor at Associate level to join their Clinical Negligence team in Birmingham. This role focuses on defendant work, but we welcome applications from solicitors with experience in either defendant or claimant clinical negligence cases.This opportunity has emerged due to the department’s continued expansion. In this role, you will primarily act for NHS Resolution (NHSR) and private healthcare providers. The department features specialist teams focusing on areas such as brain and spinal cord injuries, obstetrics, GP and dental cases, and mental health, alongside multidisciplinary teams handling a diverse range of matters.The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years PQE and prior experience in clinical negligence (defendant or claimant). The salary for this position is £50,000–£58,000, depending on experience. The working pattern includes two days in the office and three days working from home, with court attendance counting as an in-office day.The firm offers an impressive range of benefits typical of a top-tier organisation, including 25 days of annual leave plus a Christmas shutdown, health and dental insurance, a car scheme, and life assurance at three times your salary, among others.
