Our client is an award-winning tour operator who are long haul specialists selling to the B2C market.
They are now recruiting for a creative, dynamic, and forward-thinking Head of Sales to help drive their business to the next level, achieving their ambitious growth plans while being well rewarded financially for their achievements.
This is a key appointment, with the Head of Sales being responsible for managing and leading a team of experienced sales consultants whilst working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team.
Head of Travel Sales Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic plans to reach sales targets, monitor KPI performance, manage all sales operations, forecast quarterly sales figures, and help enhance the travel brand.
- Deliver the strategy through a rounded, responsive approach to achieve business targets, maximise sales revenue, optimise ROI, improve sales conversion, service levels, and increase market share within the luxury holiday market.
- Evaluate and integrate technology to drive greater lead generation, improve management of leads, and structure how to contact clients.
- Hold regular one-on-ones with the team to discuss self-development, improve sales execution, overcome roadblocks together, and motivate your team, as well as holding group sessions to develop skillsets, coach, and mentor the team.
- Formulate and implement strategy to improve service & customer satisfaction, implementing a post-travel survey for clients to rate their experience and building this into service KPIs.
Head of Travel Sales Experience Required:
- Previous sales management experience within the travel industry.
- Proven record of accomplishment in managing and developing teams to meet targets.
- First-hand product knowledge of the luxury 4* and 5* holiday market.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- A creative and innovative approach.
- Extensive sales experience creating & implementing strategies and managing sizeable sales teams.
