Roles and Responsibilities – Site Manager
Working under a Project Manager and/or Project Engineer on the installation of sprinkler, dry riser, and wet riser pipe work system projects. The duties would involve:
- Keeping records of installation progress and monitoring against the program of works
- Liaising with clients regarding the progress of the program
- Fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work
- Keeping up-to-date site records, including site diary
- Reading drawings and ensuring work is in accordance with Argus Fire designs and quality expectations and procedures
- Maintaining compliance on-site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments
- Assisting with testing and commissioning
- Supervising and assisting mates and/or trainees
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of construction sites
- Understanding of sprinkler installations
- Ability to work well in a team

- Valid CSCS Card
- SSSTS (Preferred, not essential)
- Sprinkler NVQ Level 2 (Preferred, not essential)
