We have an exciting opportunity for a Welding Training Manager to join our clients team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of the industry. This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, based mainly in Derby, with occasional travel to various sites across the UK. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Essential Experience: A solid 10 years as a Fabricator Welder Strong proficiency in hand tools and sheet metal fabrication In-depth knowledge of MIG, MAG, TIG, and MMA welding processes Ability to weld to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and 9606-2 standards Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail Experience or knowledge of BE EN 15085 standards Comfortable with Microsoft Office Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for mentoring Within this position, you’ll also be: Developing and delivering engaging training programs to enhance the skills of our welding team Conducting practical and theoretical training sessions Assessing and identifying training needs for both new recruits and current team members Ensuring compliance through regular assessments, maintaining high standards Collaborating in the development of training facilities and resources Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of training programs Salary & Working Hours Salary is £ 40,000 Pension, private medical care, flexible hours possible, free onsite parking Opportunity for career development and progression Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
