Job Title: Early Years Lecturer Location: Uxbridge, Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Including Out of Term Time) The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students studying Early Years qualifications. Your expertise will inspire and guide learners to achieve their full potential and prepare them for success in their chosen careers. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities across Early Years programs at Levels 2 and 3, ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements. Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support them to meet and exceed their learning objectives. Develop and maintain high-quality teaching materials and resources. Provide ongoing pastoral support and guidance to students to help them overcome barriers to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and promote innovative teaching practices. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, in line with college policies. Contribute to the college’s quality assurance processes and participate in professional development activities.About You: The ideal candidate will be passionate about early years education and have a proven track record of teaching and inspiring learners. Essential Skills and Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education or a related subject. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent). Relevant teaching experience within the Further Education sector. Strong knowledge of Early Years frameworks, standards, and current practices. Excellent communication, organization, and IT skills. A commitment to supporting students both academically and pastorally.Desirable Skills: Experience in curriculum development. Experience in teaching out of term time or within a year-round education setting.
