Role and Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles. Assisting the class teacher in creating and implementing tailored learning plans. Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Supporting students with their personal care needs if required. Monitoring and recording students’ progress and contributing to progress reviews. Participating in training and professional development opportunities. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential) A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
