Our mission is to make expert-led healthcare more accessible, discoverable, and patient-friendly through digital innovation. We are now looking for a talented SEO and PPC Specialist to join our team and elevate our online visibility through data-driven strategies and AI-powered tools.
Role Overview
As our in-house SEO and PPC Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies to drive organic and paid traffic across our healthcare platforms. You will be responsible for on-page SEO, local SEO, content optimisation, backlink acquisition, paid search campaigns, and performance reporting. Your work will play a critical role in increasing patient engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility across Google, Bing, and other digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Execute comprehensive on-page and technical SEO across all four healthcare websites
- Optimise content, metadata, site architecture, internal linking, and page speed
- Manage and enhance local SEO, including Google Business Profiles and Bing Places
- Develop and manage a backlink strategy including guest blogging, directory submissions, and collaborations with influencers/partners
- Create and edit SEO-friendly blog posts using AI tools and keyword research
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
- Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Remarketing)
- Manage campaign budgets, A/B test ad creatives, and continuously refine targeting
- Report on ad performance and ROI; provide recommendations for scaling successful campaigns
- Analytics and Reporting
- Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant tools to track KPIs and website performance
- Produce regular performance reports highlighting key insights, wins, and areas for improvement
- Monitor competitor activity and trends to identify opportunities for growth
- AI & Automation Integration
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, Jasper) for content creation, keyword strategy, and SEO audits
- Stay up-to-date with emerging digital trends and integrate automation where applicable to improve workflow efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and PPC, preferably in a healthcare, wellness, or regulated industry
- Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Business Profiles, Google Analytics, and Search Console
- Solid understanding of E-E-A-T, keyword research, backlink strategies, schema markup, and site audits
- Familiarity with AI tools for SEO and content optimisation
- Strong content writing/editing skills with an eye for healthcare accuracy and readability
- Experience managing multiple websites and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working on-site with potential to shift to a hybrid model after probation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical marketing or working with clinics, digital health platforms, or private healthcare brands
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Jasper, or Clearscope
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for minor front-end SEO improvements
- Understanding of healthcare advertising regulations (e.g. Google Ads policy for medical terms)
