Our client is an award-winning tour operator who long haul specialists selling to B2C market.
They are now recruiting for a creative, dynamic, and forward-thinking head of sales to help drive their business to the next level, helping to achieve their ambitious growth plans whilst being well rewarded financially for their achievements.
This is a key appointment with the Head of Sales being responsible for managing and leading a team of experienced sales consultants whilst working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team.
To be considered, candidates must have previous sales team management experiences within the travel industry with a proven record of accomplishment in managing and motivating teams to meet growth and revenue – this is essential.
This is a hybrid based role.
Head of Travel Sales Responsibilities:
Execute strategic plans to reach sales targets, monitor KPI performance, manage all sales operations, forecast quarterly sales figures, and help enhance the travel brand.
Deliver the strategy through a rounded, responsive approach to achieve the business targets, maximise sales revenue, optimise ROI, improve sales conversion, service levels and increase market share within luxury holiday market.
Evaluating and integrating technology to drive greater lead generation, improve the management of leads, the process and structure of how to contact clients.
Holding regular one to ones with the team to discuss self-development, improve sales execution, overcome roadblocks together and motivate your team, as well as holding group sessions to develop skillsets/skill share, coach, and mentor the team.
Formulating and implement strategy to improve service & customer satisfaction, implementing a post-travel survey for clients to rate the customer experience and building this into service KPI\’s
Head of Travel Sales Experience Required
Previous sales management experience within the travel industry is essential
Proven record of accomplishment in managing and developing teams to meet targets
First hand product knowledge of the luxury 4 and 5 luxury holiday market
Strong analytical, project management skills and insight are essential
A creative and innovative approach
Extensive Sales experience creating & implementing strategies and managing sizeable Sales teams
Head of Travel Sales Salary and Benefits:
Base salary to £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
Performance related bonuses up to £30,000 per annum
