Through its engagement work, the Trust offers community nature-based well-being, creative, training and learning opportunities as well as conservation volunteering. Our funding encourages people to stay fit and healthy, promotes good mental health, addresses loneliness and isolation, increases social mobility and tackles disadvantages. Our Trust also maintains over 300 acres of land and property, including the Village created by the sisters, a historic conservation area that continues to provide much-needed local accommodation. We now stand on the cusp of some major changes and, alongside a new strategy, have an exciting new multi-purpose development in progress—Talbot Quarter, a unique innovation district set in the heart of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Pool (BCP), offering a commercial, community and connective space in the UK’s fastest growing digital economy.
