Managing Associate 5+PQE – Corporate, Private Equity
Join our London office as a key player in our expanding Private Equity team within the Corporate Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant PE transactions, assisting both investors and investee companies. You’ll collaborate closely with Partners across a variety of mandates, contributing to the development and progression of our team’s talent.
We are looking for lawyers (Managing Associate level 5+PQE) with a passion for Private Equity, possessing a solid foundation in company law and corporate transaction experience. Experience in private equity deal structuring, market practice, and working with leading mid-market or large cap investors will be highly advantageous.
Our award-winning Private Equity team advises top private equity firms on investments, bolt-on acquisitions, portfolio management, and exits. We also support founders and management teams in transactions financed by private equity. With over 400 buyouts, investments, follow-on acquisitions, and exits in the last five years, our team has been recognized with numerous industry awards.
In this role, you will work with prominent private equity investors to minimise risk and maximise returns. You’ll use your creativity and impact to assist in building and executing deal pipelines, supporting investments through growth phases, and securing optimal exits. Additionally, you will identify new opportunities, execute buy-side mandates, and provide commercial advice throughout the investment lifecycle.
As a senior member of our team, you will play a crucial role in nurturing talent, contributing to business and practice development activities, and supervising other team members. Our culture emphasises support, collaboration, and career development, with a strong record of internal promotions.
