We are recruiting for a Tax Director on behalf of our client, a well-established medium sized accountancy practice based in London’s West End. The role is to support the firm’s expanding tax department and would suit a CTA qualified mixed tax professional.
This Tax Director role offers a competitive salary, depending upon experience, a great benefits package, flexible working, a profit-sharing bonus scheme and a supportive, social working environment.
It is an exciting role advising the partners and their clients on all tax matters including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, National Insurance, Corporation Tax, Inheritance Tax, SDLT and VAT, as well as international matters.
The firm has a broad range of clients including HNWIs, entrepreneurs, high profile individuals, sole traders, directors, non-residents, non-doms, landlords, trusts, partnerships, multi-national companies and more.
Responsibilities:
- Advising the partners and their clients on all aspects of their taxation affairs
- Writing tax advisory reports and newsletter/bulletins
- Proactively identifying and addressing client needs and providing innovative tax solutions
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries
- Representing the firm in client meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Be CTA qualified – exceptional candidates with other qualifications may be considered
- Extensive mixed tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Excellent technical tax knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Experience advising in all areas of taxation
- Have experience in staff management
- Acute business acumen
